  1. Set up timber sales in Boss as before.
  • Be sure “sale setup complete” has a green check mark.

 Required items include:

  • Agreement Dates on sale
  • Expiration Dates on sale
  • Winning bidder selected
  • Product contracts allocated
  • Product contract agreement and expiration dates
  • Product contract agreement and expiration dates

2. Be sure to review “Manage Product Contracts” page to confirm that the product contracts for products you plan to haul are not “Expired”

  • Expired contracts will not be available in LoadBOSS.
  • Adjust expiration dates to match Timber Sale Agreement or any Addendums. 

3. Contact Silvics support to obtain LoadBoss ai token and user-name for Buyer/Logger.  Username only needed if Buyer will be using Silvics 2.0 BOSS website interface to enter post-delivery information from a laptop or desktop computer.  

4. Select Manage LoadBOSS tickets from Change Timber Sale Page

5. Select Add Load Ticket Assignment from the right-hand side of the screen.Enter number of tickets needed for the sale then select Save and continue.

6. Enter number of tickets needed for the sale then select Save and continue.

  • Tickets are not required to be entered in increments of 50.
  • Tickets print 3 per sheet – consider issuing tickets in multiples of “3” to conserve ticket stock.

7. The next available range of tickets will be automatically assigned to the sale. 

8. Select Download Tickets to create and download a PDF document of the tickets to print tickets locally.

9. Print tickets from PDF.  Label stock provided.  Select paper size =C5 or C5 Envelope depending on printer.  Laser printer recommended for print quality and durability.  Older model HP laser printers provide the best print quality

10. Staple or bind tickets together in manageable size books.

11. Test Token on tablet to confirm load ticket assignments processed through the web site

12. Note token, username and web site address on logger instruction book and deliver to logger

13. Monitor loads on desktop/laptop as they are authorized.

14. Review loads on site by reviewing load lister
